The Mani peninsula (SW Laconia/Greece) is very rich in crystalline white-grey marbles of substantial quality, which were evidently prominently used in antiquity. This study aims to present the exact locations and mapping of ancient quarries (white marble) and the physicochemical properties of each location, aiming to fingerprint every source.
